Job Summary
Receptionist:
To provide assistance to patients in admission to, familiarization with, an d discharge from the clinic. To manage administrative multitasks on the clinic reception desk including inquiring, telephoning, receiving, visitor handling an d other facilitating
Medical Records Clerk:
In accordance with hospital policies an d procedures, assumes responsibility for managing medical records.
Billing:
To ensure accurate recording of patient charges, insurance claim generation an d to act as Cashier.
Pre-Authorization Check Clerk:
To verify insurance benefits, acquiring Guarantee of Payment from insurance company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Receptionist:
1. Answer clients’ phone calls, greeting, welcome an d check-in patients, carry out customer service according to the protocol.
2. Liaise with other clinics to direct Or escort patients, courier outsourcing exam Or tests.
3. Cooperate with Billing to provide explanation of insurance policy to patient.
4. Takes note of patient complaints, an d works with direct management to implement methods to correct these.
5. Participates in any marketing activity when necessary.
6. Maintains safe and clean work environment, furnishings an d equipment for patients.
Medical Records Clerk:
1. Check the Customer Service E-mail an d deal with the message from Call Center
2. Liaise with other clinics to send Or receive Medical Records by E-mail Or courier.
3. Organize Medical records in good order an d keep Medical records room neat an d clean.
Billing:
1. Generate
charges ba
2. Receive and process cash, credit card an d TT payment for services rendered either at time of care Or from invoices sent by Admin.
3. Issue FaPiao for client accordingly.
4. Prepare direct billing invoices by reviewing CMS System related data an d request payment for co-payments an d deductibles as necessary.
5. Correlate patient information with computer receipts an d insurance claim form submit to CBO.
6. Asist CBO on Outstanding Bill collecting an d providing patient information accordingly.
7. Prepare deferred payment form as instructed by clinic manager Or if requested by patient.
8. Reconcile and log cash collected daily.
9. Cooperate Marketing on new promotion Or other kinds of marketing activities.
10. Other ad hoc duties as required.
Pre-Authorization Check Clerk:
1. Contact insurance company to check patient’s benefits an d policy, acquire Guarantee of payment as needed.
2. Assist physician on releasing medical documents to insurance company.
3. Cooperate Receptionist to explain insurance benefits to patient.
